What is it?
Platelet rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is known as plasma or stem cell therapy. It was made famous by the ‘vampire or ‘Dracula’ facelift. The treatment utilises your body’s own ability to regenerate, heal and rejuvenate the treated area. The procedure is simple, safe and very beneficial, and can achieve astonishing, natural results.
How does it work?
A small amount of blood is taken from the patient and spun in a centrifuge until the platelet rich plasma is separated from the red blood cells. This plasma is full of growth factors and healing properties, and is injected back into the skin to stimulate healing. PRP is primarily used for full face rejuvenation or to stimulate hair growth. It aids the production of collagen and elastin which improves the overall quality and texture of your skin.
How long will it take?
45-60 mins including using a local anaesthetic cream to numb the area

Anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin prior to the treatment.
How long does it last?
For the best results, this treatment would be performed monthly for 3 months. In the case of hair restoration, I recommend monthly treatments for 6 months then a twice yearly treatment follow-up for maintenance.
